Alexa is one of the most amazing moms I know! And I’m blessed to know a lot of awesome moms out there. She gives all she has to being a mom and never seems to get tired. I don’t know how she does it. We met when our oldest kids were in Pre-K. Alexa has given birth to a healthy, beautiful baby boy since I photographed her at home a little over a month ago. She waited to find out the sex until she gave birth – something I find really cool and exciting BUT could never do myself. Why? Too impatient, I guess! Anyway, it was an honor for me to capture Alexa and her boys at this very special time. I should also add we’re on week two of quarantine and a few days in on “Shelter in Place” in our Oak Cliff Kings Highway Conservation neighborhood because of coronavirus. Being pregnant and then giving birth during this time is very complicated and comes with its own level of stress. Sending love to all of you in this situation.
