Erin is one of my best friends of over twenty years. I was just in California visiting and I finally got to meet her baby boy, Bodhi. It’d been three years since I’d last seen her and a lot has happened since. It’s kind of hard to believe that that much time can go by between seeing the people you love most, but the silver lining is that it never feels like much time has passed once we’re reunited.
Going from living in Spain five years to now being in Texas makes California feel like a distant memory despite it having been home almost 30 years. But seeing old friends when you go back makes everything familiar again. Sigh. We had about 10 minutes of light to get these photos and I’m so thankful we rallied and made it happen. Sweet Bodhi is such a happy boy and it was incredible to get to meet him and see him in the flesh (not just in photos or FaceTime finally!) These are a few of my favorites of this beautiful family…
