A wedding day can be full of emotions, from a lot of joy to some anxiety. I personally have a hard time eating when I’m anxious or super excited about something. But, let me tell you my number one tip for getting through the first part of the day: eat breakfast!
The morning can go quickly between hair and makeup, hanging with your family and/or friends as you’re all getting ready. Reminding yourself to eat might fall by the wayside, and you literally could just forget to eat because you have other things on your mind. That might sound nuts right now, but take it from someone who’s been through her own wedding and photographed dozens!
Enlist a friend or family member to remind you, have them make you a plate, etc. so that come first look or ceremony time, you’re feeling good and ready! Also, champagne doesn’t count!
